This print is inspired by the norse goddess Frigga whose son was killed by an arrow made of mistletoe. Her tears of grief turned into the white berries on the mistletoe and brought him back to life. In gratitude she declared mistletoe to be a symbol of love and peace and people have kissed under the mistletoe ever since. We choose sprigs of mistletoe for our Christmas print to remind us of the importance of gratitude .
